Terms and Conditions

1. Overview

Tinytrack is a privacy-first web analytics tool that captures user actions and presents them through clear charts and metrics. Track where visitors come from, along with their location, browser, OS, and device. Monitor traffic in real time, gain insight into payments, and see when specific goals are met. Tinytrack also identifies bot traffic, including crawlers and AI agents hitting your site.

2. Accounts

To use Tinytrack, you need to register an account. You can sign up with an email address or by linking your Google account. By creating an account, you agree that your account information, including your name, email address, and payment details, will be retained for as long as your account remains active. You also agree to pay any fees associated with your subscription.

3. Subscription

When you register an account with Tinytrack, you receive a 14-day free trial. During this period, your account can be used without payment.


Once the trial ends, a subscription is required to continue using Tinytrack's services. Without one, your account will become locked, though we will continue recording events for your website for a further 7 days. If no subscription has been purchased by the end of those 7 days, your account will be deleted and no further events will be recorded for that website.


If you cancel an active subscription, we will continue tracking events for 30 days. After that period, tracking will stop and your data will be deleted.

4. Usage and limits

When using Tinytrack, there are limits on how you can use the analytics service. By creating a subscription, you agree to use the platform within the monthly event allowance included in your plan.

Exceeding this allowance does not stop event collection. Your data will not be lost, your account will not be throttled, and ingestion for your website(s) will continue uninterrupted. What is affected is your access to your data. Upgrading to a plan with a higher monthly event allowance restores that access immediately.

What is an event?

In Tinytrack, each of the following counts as a single event:

  • A page view
  • A visit from a search engine crawler
  • A visit from an AI bot
  • A payment event
  • A custom event

How are events counted?

Events are counted per billing cycle, based on your subscription start date. Your allowance resets at the beginning of each cycle.

Exceeding your allowance

If your usage approaches or exceeds your monthly allowance, we will notify you by email:

  • 70% used: an early notification that you are approaching your monthly limit.
  • 90% used: a final warning that you are close to running out of events for the month.
  • 100% used: we notify you that you exceeded your limit and your account will continue to receive events, but access to your data will be suspended until you upgrade.

Regaining access

You will be offered an upgrade option based on your total accumulated events for the month, allowing you to restore access straight away.

Downgrading your subscription

If your usage consistently falls within a lower plan's allowance, you can request a downgrade at any time. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle; your current plan and allowance remain active until then.

5. Your data

Tinytrack is a privacy-first web analytics tool. We do not use cookies to track visitors, we do not store IP addresses, and we do not sell your data or share it with advertisers or data brokers. We use a small number of infrastructure providers, such as payment processing and hosting, solely to operate the service. We also do not collect personal data from your website visitors, such as names or email addresses.

How are events recorded?

When we record an event, we generate a visitor ID by combining a randomly generated daily salt, the visitor's user agent, and their IP address, then hashing the result. Hashing happens at the moment of ingestion, and the raw IP address is discarded immediately. It is never written to a log, queued, or recorded anywhere in our systems, not even transiently. Only the resulting hash is retained.


The salt is generated at random every 24 hours and the previous salt is permanently deleted when it rotates. Because of this, the same visitor produces a different ID each day, and the old IDs cannot be traced back to anyone once the salt is gone. This allows us to recognise a returning visitor within a single day, giving you accurate session and visitor counts, while making it impossible to link that person's activity across days. Your visitors stay anonymous.

6. GDPR

Tinytrack is GDPR-compliant by design. We do not use cookies, we do not store IP addresses, and we do not collect personal data from your website visitors. Because nothing on a visitor's device is stored or read, and no personal data is processed, you can use Tinytrack without a cookie banner or consent prompt.


Visitor IDs are anonymous and cannot be traced back to any individual, so there is no visitor data to export or delete under data subject requests. For the account information you provide as a customer, such as your email address, you can access, correct, or delete it at any time from your account settings.


All analytics data is stored on servers within the EU. When your account is deleted, all associated data is permanently deleted with it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use Tinytrack only for lawful purposes and only on websites you own or are authorised to manage. You may not use the service to collect data you are not permitted to collect, attempt to identify individual visitors, probe or disrupt our infrastructure, or resell access to the service without our written agreement.


We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. If your account is terminated for a violation, no refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period.

8. Warranty disclaimer

Tinytrack is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all events will be captured. Ad blockers, network conditions, and third-party software may prevent some events from being recorded, and analytics figures are estimates rather than guaranteed counts.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tinytrack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.


Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Refunds

Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except where required by law. If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle and will not renew.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania.

12. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Tinytrack after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.
